Sausage burnt ends bacon wrapped
Ingredients
- 4 Links sausage using original sausage you can use what ever you want
- 4 Strips bacon use regular thickness not thick so it cooks even
- 1 Tbsp bbq rub using full boar bbq spicy rub you can use what ever you like
- tooth picks this helps keep bacon wrapped around sausage
Bbq Butter bath
- 1/2 Cups bbq sauce use what ever bbq sauce you have at home or your favourite
- 1/4 Cups unsalted butter
- 3 Tbsp Brown sugar
Instructions
- slice sausage links into bite sizes then wrap with bacon and hold in place by using a tooth pick
- set your smoker at 350 degrees and let it come up to temperature
- season with your favorite bbq rub and place in smoker for about 45 minutes until bacon is cooked and crispy
- remove from smoker and place in tinfoil pan add bbq butter bath and place back in smoker for another 30 minutes.
- remove from smoker, let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes then enjoy as an appetizer or a meal
