Marinated Juicy Spatchcock Chicken| Garlic Sauce
Have you ever tried spatchcock chicken? It’s easy to make remove the back bone and flatten out, cuts down on cooking time and turns out to be the juiciest chicken ever!
Smoked spatchcock chicken
Ingredients
- 1 chicken whole
Marinate
- 1 Bottle Italian dressing
- 3-4 Tbsp hot sauce
- 1/2 Cup soy sauce
- 1/4 Cup Worcestershire sauce
bbq rub
- 1/2 Tbsp of each garlic powder, pepper & paprika
- 1/4 Tbsp onion powder & kosher salt
Garlic sauce
- 1 Cup mayo
- 1 lemon juiced
- 3-4 Cloves garlic minced
Instructions
- Pat chicken dry, remove backbone and flatten chicken
- In a large mixing bowl add 3-4 tbsps of your favorite Hot Sauce, 1 bottle of Zesty Italian Dressing, ½ cup Soy Sauce, and 1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce.
- Mix these ingredients and add the chicken to it.
- Place the chicken in the fridge and Let the chicken marinate for at least 3-4 hours but overnight won’t hurt.
- Take the chicken out of the marinade, let the excess marinade drip off,
- Season each side with a light dose of your favourite bbq rub I am using 1/2 tbsp of each garlic powder, pepper, paprika and 1/4 tbsp onion powder & kosher salt
- Set your smoker at 275 and cook for 1-2 hours and turn half way through.
- for garlic sauce combine all ingredients and refrigerate to maximize flavour
- enjoy with rice or on wraps
