Chicken Thigh Candy| BURNT ENDS

You have heard of pork candy! Well this is my spin on pork candy “chicken thigh” edition. This recipe was a banger and a must try!

Chicken Thigh Burnt Ends

Prep Time 15 minutes
Cook Time 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Lb chicken thighs boneless skinless

BBQ RUB (or use a brand name rub of your choice)

  • 1/2 Tbsp of each garlic powder, pepper, paprika
  • 1/4 Tbsp of each kosher salt and garlic powder

butter bath

  • 1/2 Stick unsalted butter
  • 1/2 Cup bbq sauce
  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • fire your smoker or grill and set to 375 degrees
  • season chicken thighs with your bbq rub and place in smoker until
    Internal temp teaches 150 degrees they cook quick
  • Remove from smoker /grill cube chicken thighs into bite size and place in a tinfoil pan adding the butter bath ingredients
  • return back to smoker until sauce is thickened and chicken is tender
  • enjoy as an appetizer or serve with rice
