Shrimp & Sausage Skewers

INGREDIENTS
- 3 smoked sausage links, sliced into 1” pieces
- 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails removed)
- Meatkingz Honey Throne (or your favorite BBQ rub)
Butter Baste:
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1 Tbsp Honey Throne rub (or your go-to BBQ rub)
- 2 tsp garlic paste or minced garlic
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Assemble the Skewers — Alternate shrimp and sausage pieces onto skewers.
- Season — Lightly coat with Honey Throne or your favorite BBQ rub.
- Preheat Grill — Set to medium heat, around 350°F.
- Make the Butter Baste — Melt butter in a small saucepan, stir in rub, garlic, and lemon juice until smooth and fragrant.
- Grill — Place skewers on the grill and cook for about 2–3 minutes per side, brushing generously with the butter baste as they cook.
- Finish — Once shrimp are opaque and sausage is sizzling, give one final brush of butter and remove from the grill.
Serve hot — perfect over rice, with grilled veggies, or straight off the skewer!
