- 4 Tbsp full boar bbq steak & chop rub or your favourite bbq rub
- 1 Cup your favourite shredded cheese
- 3 Tbsp full boar bbq sauce or your favourite bbq sauce
- 1/2 jalapeño sliced or diced *optional
- 1 red onion thinly sliced
- 5 mushrooms thinly sliced
- 1 red pepper thinly sliced
Instructions
- every steak sandwich needs 2 things a great cut of meat and a great rub/seasoning. Start off with your favourite cut of steak I will be using mayo as a binder then apply your favorite seasoning I am using full boar bbq rub steak and chop. This rub was fantastic.
- I set my griddle at 400 degrees and placed the steak and cooked 3-4 minutes then I rotated then 2 minutes on the other sideThen rotated for a total cook time off about 8-9 minutes. I like my steak well done especially for sandwiches. Make sure you let your steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing this was a thin cut of meat didn’t require long period of rest
- meanwhile cut up your favourite vegetables and cook for 3-5 minutes until slightly crunchy. Season with your favourite bbq rub. Add your thinly sliced steak to the top of your vegetables add cheese toast your buns and assemble this master piece.
- once assembled I drizzled with full boar bbq sauce and enjoy. Feel free to use what ever bbq sauce you like as it’s optional based on flavour.
