INGREDIENTS
Ingredients:
7 original smoked sausages
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp mustard
Meatkingz Royal Dust (or your favorite BBQ rub)
½–1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Prep the Sausages:
- In a large bowl, coat the sausages evenly with mayonnaise and mustard — this will act as your binder.
- Generously season with Royal Dust to create a bold flavor base.
- Smoke the Sausages:
- Preheat your smoker to 275°F.
- Place sausages directly on the grates and smoke for 30–40 minutes, rotating halfway through, until they develop a nice bark and light color from the smoke.
- Slice & Sauce:
- Remove sausages and cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- Place in a foil pan, then add ½–1 stick of butter, 1 cup BBQ sauce, and 1–2 tbsp Royal Dust. Mix gently to coat.
- Finish the Glaze:
- Return the pan to the smoker for another 30–45 minutes, stirring once or twice, until the sauce thickens and caramelizes beautifully.
- Serve:
••Toss to coat evenly before serving. Perfect as an appetizer or side at your next cookout!
