Stopped in at Fat Heads Butcher Shop in Trenton Ontario and had the crew help me put together something wild — bacon wrapped burgers. We rolled them up right there, and I fired up the grill in their parking lot to put Meatkingz Beef Dynasty to work.
Nothing beats creating BBQ on the spot with a great local butcher!
INGREDIENTS
- 6 strips of bacon
- 2 lbs ground beef
- BBQ sauce of choice
- 8 burger buns
- Lettuce
- Tomatoes
- Pickles


COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Line up 6 strips of bacon side by side.
- Spread about 2 lbs of ground beef evenly over the bacon.
- Season generously with Meatkingz Beef Dynasty rub.
- Roll it up tightly into a log.
- Slice into 2-inch thick rounds.
- Flatten each slice into a patty using a burger press or a smasher.
- Grill for about 8 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- When you flip after the first 8 minutes, brush with your favorite BBQ sauce.
- Serve on 8 buns with lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.
